Jo's Crafty Pad Personal Challenge on Facebook

The first challenge on Crafty Pad is the One Sheet Wonder, to see what we can make out of one 12x12 sheet of designer paper.  I used a template on Pinterest, which you can find here: http://getcreativewithtraci.co.uk/2014/04/29/traci-corneliuss-stampin-up-technique-class-april-one-sheet-wonder-11-cards/ to cut my paper into different sized pieces to mat and layer for card fronts.

I managed to create 14 cards in different sizes. All card bases are cream and the papers are matted onto matching cream cardstock.  All edges have been inked with Tim Holtz Walnut Stain. I started with a pack of C6 card blanks some were cut down to match the smaller paper sizes that were cut.  The matted pieces of card were also inked around the edges.

 Both cards here are C6
Large sentiment stamps have been gold embossed onto matching cream cardstock and raised with foam pads.

These two cards are also C6
For simple decoration I have used self adhesive flat back pearls in 3mm and 6mm on all cards.

Both Cards measure approximately 10cm x 10cm (4x4 inch)

Congratulations card is C6 and the two Thanks cards are approximately 10cm x 10cm (4x4 inch) with the embossed sentiment direct to the card or patterned paper.

The two I love You cards are approximately 7.5cm x 7.5cm (3x3 inches) and again embossed directly to the card.

I have really enjoyed the process of making these cards and I think this has helped me look at my card making a bit differently now.  This will also help when I have lost my mojo as it really did kick start lots of ideas.  You can go all out with the decoration of these cards once you have the patterned paper down and it helps with getting rid of that blank card syndrome where you don't always know where to start.

Sentiment stamps and lots of paper pads available at http://jopricedesigns.com/ Why not come along and have a browse at all the products and yumminess we have available.  Also pop over to the Facebook group to join in our challenges.  https://www.facebook.com/groups/1520689581569856/
